In-home overnight sleep training, San Francisco
Real questions I hear at 11 PM
You don't have to do this alone. I'll guide the nights.
Until you know exactly what to do.
Meet Margo
In-home overnight sleep training in San Francisco.
For the past 15 years, I've been welcomed into San Francisco homes during some of the hardest nights of early parenthood.
At 3 AM, I'm in your nursery reading your baby's cues, adjusting in real time, and helping you respond with confidence.
Every family is different. I watch, listen, and adjust as we go, so the plan reflects your baby not someone else's. My goal is simple: to help you understand your baby, feel confident in your decisions, and know what to do long after I leave.
I know what 2 AM looks like in your house right now. Bedtime has become a battle. Every wake-up feels endless. You're not failing. This is just hard.
From first call to confident nights.
We talk
A free 15-minute call. We talk about your baby, your nights, and whether this feels like the right fit.
We make a plan
A 60-minute consultation where we go through everything in detail. Before I arrive, you'll receive a personalized sleep plan.
I stay the night
I arrive around 6:30 PM and stay until morning. I'm with you through every wake-up—guiding your response in real time and adjusting as we go.
You take over
Two weeks of messaging support plus one follow-up call. You'll know what to do when regressions come—and they won't faze you.
Sleep Consulting
Sleep consulting. Start with understanding.
Sleep needs change as children grow, and what works today may not work a few months from now. Whether you're trying to understand newborn sleep, work through a sleep regression, or looking for support with sleep training, I'll answer your questions, explain what to expect, and help you understand what your baby needs.

- You're unsure whether sleep training is right for your family.
- You've tried everything and don't know what to try next.

- You simply have questions you'd like answered.
What you'll leave with
- A clear understanding of your baby's sleep.

In-Home Sleep Training
For when you want me in the room.
This is what most families come to me for. Before the first night, we meet so I understand your baby's sleep, feeding, temperament, and routines. During the overnight, I guide the process in real time, making thoughtful adjustments as your baby responds. Afterward, you'll have continued access to me so you're never left wondering what to do next, along with a follow-up call to help you move forward with confidence. Most families see meaningful change within 3–5 nights.
What to expect
- A 60 minute consultation where we'll build a clear sleep plan before the first night.
- 12 hours of in-home support (6:30 PM–6:30 AM) with experienced guidance and thoughtful adjustments as your baby learns.
- Continued access to me for two weeks after our overnights are complete.
- A follow-up conversation to celebrate progress, answer remaining questions, and help you feel confident moving forward.
For babies 4 months and older.
Flexible scheduling: As families gain confidence, some choose to transition from full overnight support to an evening bedtime visit for continued hands-on guidance.
Bedtime Support Call
For existing consultation and in-home sleep training clients.
If you'd like live guidance while putting your sleep plan into practice, we can connect by phone or video during bedtime. I'll help you troubleshoot in real time, answer questions as they come up, and make adjustments based on what's happening in the moment.
What you'll get
- Up to 60 minutes of live phone or video support
- Scheduled between 5:00–9:00 PM
Per session.
Real families, real results.
“'What would Margo do?' became a regular saying around our household.”
Margo is a Force of Nature. She walked into a chaotic situation and created order. She is direct, kind, good humored, inventive and unflappable.
“Margo affectionately became known as 'Magic Margo' in our household.”
She was a wealth of knowledge about baby care, especially baby sleep and lactation. She gave us invaluable advice on sleep hygiene and practices to set us up for good baby sleep for months, and hopefully, years to come.
“She literally saved our family.”
Margo worked wonders with our 7 month old. She is very professional, kind, reassuring and calm. She sleep trained our baby to sleep through the night and literally saved our family. We all feel so transformed after working with her.
“By the second night, my baby slept soundly and only woke up once.”
I was hesitant to do sleep training, but she created an approach that worked for us. She has an extremely intuitive sense of what different babies need and she tweaked our approach as we went, based on my baby's reaction.
“Easily the best investment my husband and I have ever made.”
When our time together was (sadly) over at 6 weeks, our baby was sleeping 5 hour stretches at night. Don't think twice about booking her!
“Is it possible to give 10 stars?”
Margo is the consummate professional: she's reliable, thoughtful, smart, and adaptable. Definitely a bonus that Margo has a lactation specialty and is a sleep trainer… she's the ultimate ‘swiss army knife’ of doulas!
“She sleep trained my baby AND me.”
Margo was pivotal in maintaining my mental health postpartum. She helped us set the foundations for good sleep hygiene and routine. Margo is also wildly intuitive and great at problem solving.
“She definitely knows what she is doing.”
When we hit the four-month regression, we came back to her for advice on sleep training. She guided us through daytime schedule changes, and our baby started sleeping and increasing sleep time right away.
“Like a newborn fairy godmother.”
She's passionate about her work and it shows in the results she gets with babies (and parents!) Our family is a BIG Margo fan and any other family would be lucky to work with her.

Yes — when done with care. Each plan is personal, built for your baby. I'm physically present in your home the entire night, reading cues and adjusting in real time. CPR-certified, fully insured, TrustLine-certified, and background-checked, with 15+ years of experience. If anything doesn't feel right to you at any point, we stop and adjust.
I'm in your home from 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM, working through the plan with you in real time. Not a phone call. Not a course you execute alone at 2 AM. You respond to your baby — I read the cues, adjust the plan, and stay until morning.
Online programs give you information and leave you to figure it out at 2 AM. I'm physically in your nursery for 12 hours, reading your baby's cues and adjusting in real time. Most families see results in 3–5 nights — not 3–5 months.
Most families see significant improvement in 3–5 nights. I provide 2 weeks of messaging support plus one follow-up call after overnight sessions to make sure the results stick.
Yes. About 1 in 5 of my families is twins or has a toddler in regression alongside a younger baby. Twins overnight is a different protocol — both cribs, coordinated soothes, breastfeeding logistics if mom is nursing. For toddler-plus-newborn households, I can either focus on one child or build a dual-room plan. Pricing is adjusted to scope. Tell me your situation and I'll give you a real estimate within 24 hours.
Three options, your choice: (1) I wake you for night feeds and handle everything else (most common); (2) you pump in advance and I bottle-feed at scheduled wake-ups so you sleep through; (3) hybrid — I bring baby to you for one feed, bottle-feed the rest. We talk through this on our intake call. I never wean a baby off night feeds without explicit parent goal.
I provide in-home overnight sleep consulting in San Francisco. Virtual sleep consultations are available nationwide.
My promise
I don't sell methods. I stay the night.
Most families see real change in 3–5 nights. After that, two weeks of messaging support plus one follow-up call — so the gains hold, and you don't need me back.
When you're ready.
Send a short note — your baby's age, what your nights look like. I read every message myself. No intake form, no scheduler. Just a conversation. Writing at 3 AM? I'll see it first thing in the morning.
Message sent.
Margo will get back to you within 24 hours, Monday–Friday.
